Peaches & Biscuits | The Perfect Summer Dessert

Y'all. This Peaches & Biscuits dessert is about to become your new go-to summertime favorite. It is such an easy recipe and gives you get another reason to eat loads of peaches while they're at the peak of their season and flavor.

I am proud to say that we've partnered with our friends at The Peach Truck to bring you this recipe. The Peach Truck sells fresh Georgia peaches, nationwide. You can order peaches online or buy them in person at one of their Peach Truck Tour locations. And for reals, you've gotta try them. Treat yourself to a box, or send some to a friend, or, I dunno, drive 3 hours to hit up one of their tour spots! I promise it'll be worth it.

I am also proud to say that this is officially our first cooking video, but know that I'm using that term loosely. Just watch and you'll see what I mean. 😂 I love to cook and T.J. often watches me work in the kitchen, but today T.J. is the one making everything with my instruction. #kindergardenhands

We had so much fun making this video for you guys. I hope it gives you a little taste (see what I did there) of what this recipe will be like and how easy it is to prepare.

And now for the delicious recipe!

Biscuits & Peaches | The Perfect Summer Dessert

Serves 6  |  Prep Time: 20 Mins

  • 6 ripe peaches (might we suggest getting them from The Peach Truck!)

  • 2 c. strawberries

  • 2 1/3 c. Original Bisquick mix

  • 1/2 c. milk (regular or almond)

  • 3 tablespoons sugar

  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted

  • 1 pint heavy whipping cream

  • Chopped pecans as a topping (optional)

Begin by heating your oven to 425. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and set aside. In a medium mixing bowl, combine Bisquick, milk, sugar and melted butter. Stir until a soft, lumpy dough forms.

Drop six spoonfuls of dough onto your cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.

While you're waiting on the biscuits to bake, slice the peaches and chop the strawberries. Set aside.

Next, pour the heavy whipping cream into a mixing bowl and beat on high with an electric or stand mixer, for several minutes, until soft peaks form.

Tip: For the best homemade whipped cream, chill your mixing bowl and beaters in the refrigerator for a while beforehand!

Split warm biscuits in half and fill with peaches, strawberries, and whipped cream. Top with chopped pecans. Finally, sit back and enjoy!
