PSA!! How To Make Friends This Summer: Combine KELLOGG's RICE KRISPIES Cereal with JET PUFFED marshmallows and a bag of REESE'S MINIS. Boom. Friendship made.

I'm kidding! Although that probably would work to make friends. Okay so, do you ever learn something about yourself and go "Huh. That kinda surprises me!?!" That was me realizing how much I love Rice Krispie treats. It's not like I grew up eating them a lot, or would even pick them out at a party as the dessert I'd want. But in the last few years, I've worked them into basically every party we have and could eat the entire pan by myself. I don't... but, I totally could.

Yet while I always find them delicious, they're not necessarily the most exciting treat to serve at a summer BBQ or outdoor movie night. Until now, my friends. If you flavor the Rice Krispie mixture itself with some Reese's Peanut Butter Baking Chips, and then top off the entire pan with melted HERSHEY's Chocolate Semi Sweet Chips, and chopped REESES Minis, they're bound to impress. And be gone in like 8 minutes.

Also, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again — I love shopping at Giant. Sometimes I’ll use their delivery service, and sometimes I’ll shop in person. This recipe is really simple, so you've gotta try it out next time you're the one who needs to bring a treat to a gathering!

Here's what you'll need!

INGREDIENTS:

½ cup butter

1 package (10 oz, about 40) Jet-Puffed ® marshmallows or 4 cups Jet-Puffed ® Miniature Marshmallows

½ cup REESE’S Baking Chips

7 cups Kellogg's Rice Krispies® Cereal


Topping:

½ cup Hershey's ® semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 ½ cups chopped Reese’s peanut butter cups ® (about a full bag of Reese's ® Peanut Butter Cups® Minis)

Additional Hershey's ® semi-sweet chocolate chips and REESE’S Baking Chips to sprinkle on top as well!

DIRECTIONS:

Start by lining a 13 x 9-inch baking dish with foil and spray with nonstick spray.

Next, in a large, microwave-safe bowl, melt butter, JET-PUFFED Marshmallows, and Reese's Peanut Butter Baking Chips (heat for 45 seconds at a time, stirring between heating). Stir together until completely melted.

Add KELLOGG’S RICE KRISPIES Cereal to the bowl with the marshmallows and stir until evenly coated. Using a buttered spatula or back of a spoon, evenly press mixture into the prepared baking dish.

Chop your bag of REESE’s Minis and set aside. Then melt and drizzle the Hershey’s® semi-sweet chocolate evenly over the top of the KELLOGG’S RICE KRISPIES TREATS.

Sprinkle with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and any additional baking chips you'd like!

Let the chocolate cool completely. Cut into 2-inch squares. Store in an airtight container for 3–4 days.
